Hello All! the 2009 Break the Silence Conference: Shattering the Culture of Violence, is approaching fast!!! The conference will take place from 9 AM – 5 PM on Saturday, March 7th.

The day will begin at 9am in the Leroux Room, which is on the first floor of the Student Center (click here for the campus map). Although workshops will be in various locations on campus, we are encouraging all late conference participants to visit the Leroux Room when they first arrive, in order to register, pay and receive a schedule.

We have just updated the caucus information and workshop descriptions. We hope to see you all there!!!

Dear Potential Participants,

Please click here to download the registration form. You can submit the registration form by:

Filling it out electronically and sending it to breakthesilence09@gmail.com
Printing the registration form out and submit it during one of our tabling times
Printing the registration form and turning it in to the Office of Multiculture Affairs (Suite 320 in the Student Center at Seattle University) which is open M- F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Registration Fee is a sliding scale of $5-20. You can either pay in advance at one of our tabling times or the day of the conference.

We apologize for the delay in having the registration form available. A hard copy is currently available, if you’d like us to email you the registration form for you to print email breakthesilence09@gmail.com You can turn in your form at any of the times that we’ll be tabling in C Street and Pigt, Dates are two blog entries below.

By tomorrow or Thursday we’ll have the registration available for you to fill out on the computer and email straight to our gmail account.

The 2009 Break the Silence: Shattering the Culture of Violence conference will take place tentatively from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday March 7th 2009. Registration will begin February 1st 2009.

The Mission and Goals of the conference have just been added to the right.
